Gerrior, Ruth Ann- (88) Halifax

GERRIOR, Ruth Ann- (88), of Halifax, N.S. passed away peacefully at the Northwood Manor on November 19, 2010. Born in Canso, NS. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Adeline Berrigan. Ruth was a loyal 649 player and a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She is survived by Carol (Tom) Duncan of Hubley, N.S., sons Thomas (Janet) Halifax, N.S. and Wayne Jay of PEI, sisters Jean Kelly, Theresa Fitzpatrick, Irene (Raymond) Mombourquette, Paully (Donnie) Ledrum, brothers Bernie Berrigan, grandchildren T.J., Michelle, Tina and Sharlene, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Thomas V. Gerrior and grandson Travis V. Gerrior, brothers Herb, Pat, Dempsey and Jack, sisters Helen Evelyn, and Frances. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
